Mr. Michael De Silva
Since his youth, music has been a part of his life's journey which sought a career as a professional guitarist, leading the renowned local band, Jamlab, and he is known to be one of the very few Live Music Producers in the country to achieve ample success in an EP release for 'Unscripted', another renowned local band in Colombo.
He is also a B.A. and MBA qualified professional, who was one of the few selected participants for Marketing 3.0 Intersession headed by Philip Kotler.
Before founding Yellow Play, his unique skillset led to a fulfilling career in media and communications, followed by brand marketing experience at Leo Burnett Sri Lanka, where he worked with a plethora of brands such as Sri Lankan Airlines, Commercial Bank, Dialog Sri Lanka and Ninewells.
Mike De Silva now parlays his experience into Digital Audio Communication Strategy, where he is dedicated to creating effective brand building strategies that will position local talent and their music not just locally, but internationally as well.
